Standing Textile(s) is on display during Dutch Design Week 2017 at Design Academy Eindhoven’s Graduation Show,
These 3D woven structures might look fragile, but are actually light, strong, and sturdy. Stretching the boundaries of 3D weaving, Fransje Gimbrere created this experimental series of textile sculptures to cast a new light on the value of ancient crafts and their unforeseen possibilities.
